Hellion HAM 8.80DSP is a multifunctional processor-amplifier for cars and motorcycles, which has special capabilities that set it apart from other similar devices.
The main feature that distinguishes the HAM 8.80DSP from its analogues is that all channels of the processor built into it are “pass-through”, which does not limit the owner in using any number of external amplifiers and does not make the system with it “ultimate”, as is the case with most of these devices.
You can use either built-in amplifiers or connect external ones in any channels, which allows you to output any power your components need, and this makes it possible to develop the system gradually or even make two “parallel” systems in one car.
If desired, the built-in amplifier can be turned off and the HAM 8.80DSP can be used simply as a processor, which has never been seen in such products before and is another distinctive feature.
Power supply capabilities and very compact housing dimensions allow not only the use of HAM 8.80DSP in cars (including those equipped with a START/STOP system), but also directly indicate the possibility of use on motorcycles, thanks to the very low current consumption (only 540 mA in mode amplifier and 330 mA in processor mode), which is an important factor for this technique.
Hellion HAM 8.80DSP is manufactured in a waterproof version IP 54, which significantly expands the possibilities of its use not only in cars and motorcycles, but also in boats and yachts (where the capabilities of the built-in processor will allow you to organize a system with several different listening zones!
With all this, the built-in amplifier is capable of surprising with impressive power, which is 110 W in each of the eight channels when using a 2 Ohm load!
From the list of advantages, it is also impossible to exclude the very humane and “fair” cost of this wonderful device, which, with all other advantages, makes it accessible to a very wide range of consumers!
